I waited and waited and finally I can show you the sweater that I was able to testknit thanks to the designer Isabell Kreamer also known on Ravelry as lilalu. *^-*^~~~

Drugi raz dziergałam według wzoru napisanego przez Isabell (pierwszy był darmowy wzór "On the beach"), i bardzo polecam opisy Isabell - są szczegółowe, proste i zrozumiałe, i dobrze napisane - nawet wersja testowa w zasadzie nie wymagała poprawek.
Sweterek robiłam na drutach 3,5 mm (gładkie części) i 4 mm (części wielokolorowe), a włóczka to Ice Yarns Soft Merino, niestety już nie produkowana, czego bardzo żałuję, bo jest to mięciutka wełna w pięknych kolorach. Gdybym miała zwrócić uwagę na szczególny element tego projektu to jest nim sprytnie podniesiona linia tyłu sweterka na karku, uzyskana dzięki rzędom skróconym.
Sweterek robiłam na drutach 3,5 mm (gładkie części) i 4 mm (części wielokolorowe), a włóczka to Ice Yarns Soft Merino, niestety już nie produkowana, czego bardzo żałuję, bo jest to mięciutka wełna w pięknych kolorach. Gdybym miała zwrócić uwagę na szczególny element tego projektu to jest nim sprytnie podniesiona linia tyłu sweterka na karku, uzyskana dzięki rzędom skróconym.
It was my second time knitting from Isabell's pattern (the first one was the free "On the beach"), and I highly recommend her patterns - they're detailed, easy to understand and well written, even the test version almost didn't have any mistakes to be corrected.
I used 3,5 mm needles for the plain colour parts and 4 mm needles for the colourwork parts, my yarn was the Ice Yarns Soft Merino (discontinued unfortunately, which is sad because it was a soft and warm wool, good to work with and in beautiful shades). If I were to point out one specific element of that pattern it would be a cleverly designed neckline which is higher at the back and lower at the front, thanks to the shirt row shaping.
Sweterek ma postać trapezu, ale taką formę zachowa tylko na kobietach bez biustu. Nie taliowałam go w żaden sposób a założony od razu traci kształt trapezu, biust zabiera nadmiar materiału i robi się talia, co w połączeniu z rozszerzeniem na biodra daje nam piękną klepsydrę. Dla mnie to żaden problem, taki nawet bardziej mi się podoba. *^v^* Natomiast gdybym chciała uzyskać efekt trapezu, musiałabym wybrać opis na rozmiar lub dwa większy niż normalnie noszę albo dodawać więcej oczek od linii oddzielenia rękawów i korpusu.
My only comment is that although my sweater is exactly the A-line shape when flat, it changes the shape when worn because the boobs pull the fabric and suddenly the sweater gets fitted in the waist. Not that I mind! Just saying that it if I wanted to get the result of a sweater fitted at the armpits and widening towards the hips, I'd have to add more stitches along the way down. Or maybe choose to knit a size or two bigger than I usually wear, to achieve more positive ease.
Dziergałam rozmiar m1 i pracowałam dokładnie według wzoru za wyjątkiem ostatniego powtórzenia 15 rzędów ściegu gładkiego tuż przed dolnym wzorem i ściągaczem, bo sweterek robił się już za długi jak na mój gust. Zrobiłam po 9 rzędów ściągacza na dole i na rękawach i 6 rzędów na podkroju szyi.
I made size m1, I knitted according to the pattern except for the last repeat of the 15 st stitch repeat on the body just before the bottom patterned panel (the sweater was getting too long for my taste). I knit 9 rows/rounds of ribbing on the bottom hem and sleeves, and 6 rows on the neckline.
A na drutach przybywa mi sweterka antracytowego, przody i tył już gotowe i zszyte, i wrabiam pierwszy rękaw bezpośrednio z podkroju pachy! *^o^*
And on my needles now - I finished the fronts and the back, sewed them and now I'm working on the first sleeves, knit directly from the armscythe. *^o^*
