It comes that time when I'll become a crazy lady wearing tiny hats with fake flowers everyday, with the wind in my hair.... *^W^*
As I promised, here are the photos of my latest dress's which I wore to the wedding on Saturday. The print is so busy you cannot really see the shape... *^0^*
Anyway, the neckline is cache coeur, trapezoidal skirt with a wide flounce, I added three pleats on each hip on the side seams so the skirt is a bit lifted (photo below), 3/4 sleeves. The fabric is thicker jersey bought online, it's very nice and soft, and was easy to work with!
I used the similar pattern to make another dress from the blue flowery jersey too, modified, but more about it another time. And for the wedding I borrowed the hat from my dolls! *^o^*

W niedzielę pojechaliśmy do podwarszawskiego Tarczyna, bo odbywała się tam rekonstrukcja Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 roku. Robert napisał scenariusz przedstawienia a ludzie z zaprzyjaźnionej stajni i kilka grup rekonstrukcji historycznej odegrało to wydarzenie.
On Sunday we went to Tarczyn near Warsaw to watch the reconstruction of the Battle of Warsaw 1920. Robert wrote a scenario for this preformance and the people who took part in it were the ones from the stable he used to ride horses in and some historical reconstruction groups.
I remembered I liked wearing colourful shawls and leggings under dresses! *^0^*

The current state of my knitting - the shawl has the first of three tiers ready. It's an amazing colour almost impossible to catch in the photo, it changes with light and it can be much darker and later much lighter than you can see below.
Because the next shawl's tier is more complicated and I didn't want to start it while watching a movie I switched to the pullover and today I am a few rows away from body/sleeves separation. As you can see, I decided to use light nougat Alpaca with light beige and dark beige Brushed Silk Alpaca threads but not in any particular order. On the contrary, I randomly choose what to knit with next and it this way I have irregular thinner and thicker melange stripes.
Na razie ode mnie tyle, idę wstawić kurczaka do piekarnika i powiesić pranie, a Wam życzę cudownego tygodnia, podobno ma być jeszcze słoneczko!!! *^0^*~~~
So that's the craic folks, now I'm going to put the chicken in the oven for lunch and hang the laundry, have a great week, the forecast says we are having sunny days now in Warsaw!!! *^0^*~~~
