To our Japanese friends

This is something my husband wanted to say to our Japanese friends:

There are not many food I can eat day by day and not to get bored with it. Actually there are almost none such food except maybe the buckwheat that I do like very much or good bread since, as the saying goes, the Pole can eat everything with.

But recently this short list has been expanded with the gorgeous miso shiru. The small bowl of the Japanese ambrosia became something I can and need to drink every weekday at work. It is something joyful in the middle of a hard day work, something to wait for and enjoy no matter what is happening around, something that often basically makes my day.

And I can enjoy it in lots of different flavours thanks to generous help of my wife's friends, for which I would like to thank them sincerely! So therefore I thank you very much because of your acts of friendship I can face my sometimes dull and sometimes difficult work with a fresh portion of energy and optimism.

As today, as everyday! 本当にありがとう!

And I can fully support his statement! *^v^*

During the winter I eat it every day.
